Obtaining a scholarship funding requires a good understanding of the application process and skill in making the application.

NCPACA scholarships require you to submit your application several weeks in advance of actual disbursement.
You must follow every little rule in the application package.
Please bear in mind that you must have the necessary qualifications as stipulated by the scholarship committee.
Competitive merit-based awards of up to $5,000 for outstanding accounting students who, in the opinion of the NCPACA Selection Committee, show significant potential to become Certified Public Accountants and not presently a CPA.
NCPACA Scholarship for Accounting Students is available only to full-time undergraduate and graduate students at regionally accredited institutions. Awards are granted primarily based on merit (academic achievement); financial need is evaluated as a secondary criteria.
Four students received scholarship money during the President’s Gala Night. Each student submitted an application with letters of recommendation and personal statements explaining why s/he wanted to become a CPA.
A Scholarship Selection Committee, made up of past NCPACA Presidents, the current NCPACA President, and three chapter officers, carefully reviewed each applicant’s submission. An in-depth interview was also conducted following the application reviews.
After careful deliberation, each student was awarded a certificate of recognition along with scholarship money ranging from $2,000 to $5,000. Congratulations to our 2019 NCPACA-AICPA Scholars!
As we head into year three of the pandemic, things look a whole lot brighter than they did in 2020.
NCPACA is thrilled to announce the 35th Annual Professional Convention will be taking place
in-person format.
